Whether its a small basement renovation or sawing apart bridges and dams, Peak Concrete Cutting and Coring is fully equipped to handle the task.
At Peak we have a range of wall sawing equipment to do any job, from smaller gas and hydraulic powered saws up to the largest hydraulic and high cycle machines on the market able to cut 36'' deep from one side. We are one of the few concrete cutting companies which has implemented the newer, safer, cleaner and more powerful high cycle technology. This technology converts AC power to a high frequency DC power, therefore no longer requiring the need for heavy and messy hydraulics. This also removes the risk of unexpected and expensive environmental spills. Peak Concrete Cutting also offers one of the smallest but still one of the most powerful power units on the market. This compact unit is easily moved around a site, it can fit through doors and up elevators so we can access locations where a conventional larger units would need to be lifted into position by a crane and where gas powered equipment presents a carbon monoxide risk. Using this unit we can cut a typical 8-10 inch thick wall from one side without over-cutting into the adjacent concrete, thus maintaining structural integrity. The small unit also requires less water and space to complete the job, thus generating less mess and making it perfect for finished areas and limited access locations. There are many advantages to wall sawing such as perfectly straight lines, no vibrating noise, exact depth control, easy controlled removal of stairs and decks, cuts through aggregate and steel reinforcing leaving a smooth surface, no dust, and angled cuts. Typical uses for wall sawing are: doorways, window, wall openings, roof openings, architectural enhancement, equipment based removal, culvert and pipe openings, tank modifications and bridge deck removal. |
